Tech Lead

As our new Tech Lead, you oversee the full technical architecture of the company and you will be responsible for the quality and direction of the technical architecture and development within the company. You will advise our management on all technical matters and share your knowledge with your colleagues.

Your main focus

  • Act as a sparring partner for our management (stakeholders) on technical issues and give advice on technical opportunities in the areas of architecture and software;

  • You will manage and take charge of the frameworks used in our products;

  • Have final responsibility for internal coding guidelines and ensure the technical quality of our products;

  • Determine the architecture of the services and work together with our System Administrator to explain decisions and share knowledge;

  • Develop and realize technical solutions (and answer questions from your colleagues about your technical decisions);

  • Expand your personal knowledge of the work area and share it within the organisation. You will actively spot trends in the market and translate these into concrete measures for our products;

  • You will be helping colleagues in the resolution of complex technical problems and you will be actively concerned with the performance of the (iOS) developers;

  • You will carry out code reviews;

  • Last but not least, you will be programming for product development and take an active part in the organization of the agile teams.

Your qualifications

  • A complete 3rd level education (HBO/ Bachelor’s degree);

  • At least 7 years experience as a software developer;

  • Ability with and knowledge of digital design tools conforming to requirements of Impala Studios, to be established by examination;

  • Have command of diverse programming languages and broad experience in technical architecture;

  • Experience with and/or knowledge of a broad scale of development technologies, programme languages and databases.

  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken (Dutch is not a requirement).
