About the role
Impala Studios is a hyper fast-growing, mobile tech company. We are looking for a iOS Developer – Ads to join the Development team.
You will join a team of innovative and creative IT professionals who invent, design, develop and release apps on multiple leading mobile platforms. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with our AdOps & Programmatic Specialists to improve our advertising stack, balancing revenue, performance and user experience.
We are looking for
- Higher education or equivalent ability.
- 4+ years of experience as an iOS Developer.
- Languages: Swift, Objective-C, and interest in others such as C++ (we try not to add any new ObjC code, but there's legacy code that our developers need to update sometimes).
- Working experience reviewing and improving frameworks as well as implementing in-app UI.
- Working experience with implementing and optimizing for common mobile advertising SDKs (Google Mobile Ads, Ad Mob, Facebook Ads, Prebid, Amazon, etc.) and advertisement triggers/events.
- Familiar with current data regulations like GDPR/CCPA and Apple privacy policy IDFA/ATT.
- Nice to have: experience with Data Management Platforms or Customer Data Platforms and smart segmentation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is not a requirement).
- True team player skills.
What you'll do
- Optimizing our in-app ad stack and internal advertising framework, by researching and integrating third-party SDKs and optimizing ad placement and serving.
- Setting up AB tests and assisting in interpreting results.
- Responsible for long term maintainability and performance of internal frameworks - ad-related, as well as making framework integration easier for our product teams.
- Improving internal framework delivery processes, to more easily distribute new framework versions across our product portfolio.
- Assisting teams with improving and integrating frameworks themselves, by providing guidance and hands-on assistance.
- Working in line with GDPR, CCPA and other privacy consent regulations. Also in line with internal coding guidelines and carry out code reviews.
- Providing personal input for the optimization of the product.
